I recently got to enjoy a delightful stay at the West Lake State Guest House, which offered a perfect blend of luxury and tranquillity right by the beautiful West Lake. Upon arrival, I was intrigued by the elegant yet understated entrance, with the friendly staff ready to assist, a far cry from the nerve-wracking experience of passing through security! Our room offered stunning views of the lake, equipped with a flat-screen TV and a comfy bed that made it hard to leave. We made sure to sample the exquisite dishes in the on-site restaurant-the variety was impressive, and the ambiance made every meal a memorable experience, especially when wrapped up in the evening breeze from the terrace. The rich green grounds of the hotel beckoned us for leisurely strolls, and with convenient access to local attractions, we explored the area by hiking and boating-my two little ones were in their element! Plus, the attention to detail in room service truly made our stay feel personal and special. This charming hotel tugged at my heart-a perfect destination for families seeking a serene retreat with top-notch amenities and a dash of history. Highly recommended!
